Preparation for Travel

I used to go everywhere and leave everything without a care, now I have all this coffee and I’m freaking OUT!

No, not really, but in getting ready to go on our Honeymoon we’re really busy getting all our people covered for coffee.

This is the honeymoon/business trip of 2009. Kath and I will be on a coffee investigation. Coffee and adventure! Did I mention surf , snorkel, meditation, camp, explore, yoga, sand, warm and roast!

Yes, roast. (I’m packing a small roaster in my bags) Kath and I will be motor touring the Big Island known as Hawaii in a 1987 Volkswagen Westfalia Camper Van. It’s like Camper Van Beethoven. We even have magnetic Roos Roast logo’s for the doors of the van. Having logo’s on the side of your vehicle in the islands is chill because you become instant locals. I figure we’ll pay for gas by selling coffee on the road side. Roos-cafe ala Hawaii! Stay tuned for photos of our adventure.

So the deal is were leaving on Monday the 19th of January and returning on the 30th. I gotta go roast! I will be at the Farmers Market on Saturday!

Good luck John! be safe, have fun. virtual HUGS to you and Kathy. I’ll wait until you get back to get some more beans…….the post-honeymoon roasts are sure to be filled with extra love, good mood juju, and a little hawaiian air.
