That Fall Feeling

From the wild rush of setting up at the market this morning before I took off for other Roos related tasks, Brian and Michelle holding court at the the coffee table, I stopped and said hello to Richard from Tantre Farms and what keeps repeating itself in my head as I write this is what he said. “Feels like fall”. He’s right!

For some, this is their favorite time of year. Coffee. This type of weather makes them want even more coffee! Coffee. I know people who will even put on more layers of clothing, and have a second and third cup! Of Coffee! Imagine coffee! (this has been a public service announcement brought to you by coffee)

Traffic jams every where! Why is every one stopped I need my citizen band radio so I can get to the bottom of this! “Stay off the roads if at all possible”, I remind myself while behind the wheel wondering what’s taking so long to advance on the green light. Are people in front of me texting or just sleepy? Then I remember that I’m on far more Roos Roast then they ever imagined at this early hour. And they’re probably drinking coffee or they’re waiting to get to work before they have any. Coffee is my work. Coffee is my world I’m going to get a sailboat and sail to coffee regions and bring it home in the hull of my ship!

Some doy I’ll be roasting coffee from a sail boat and swing in to Nantucket Harbor, Provincetown and other great harbors sloshing hot fresh coffee into awaiting cups.

Homegrown report: There were lots of happy vendors and tons of interested people! So much better than the soggy last year!

You know I could have been a doctor or a lawyer but i choose to do coffee because I can reach more people that way.

Just ask my mom she’ll tell you.

Homegrown festival was great! Who saw me and my mom on stage with the Pepto? That’s right me and The Dew Drop Lady and a cast of characters were on board for a couple minutes of reflection. Thanks to Heidi Komao for the picture capturing it!

Everyone is talking about Friday or 2 people are because I’m going to fall back on Superior fire power, sleep in a little and get into my short order days of early Breckenridge, Colorado. That’s right I’m your shot order Sous at Breakfast at Selma.

Saturday come and get your Roos Roast on at the market and that night I’ll be live painting at

Don’t want above comment to be misconstrued. I’m asking about the person, not making a derogatory comment about the coffee. Just wanted to make it clear. Random, I know.

Hi! Just wanted to say that I LOVED the free sample at the Homegrown festival. Spicy, flavorful, and delicious. Thanks very much!

This is Bondo from the 1991 Dead Show in Eugene Oregon. Coming to you live at Roos Roast. Who needs a coffee?

Yay Bondo! It was 1991 wasn’t it. Just ordered some coffee to be sent way out here to Whitefish, Montana. Looking forward to the shwag too! Glad life is treating you well!
