First of all, RoosRoast just invested in Michigan’s first and only Loring Roaster™ – an incredible state-of-the-art roaster designed and built in Santa Rosa, CA. It’s amazing Flavor Lock Roasting system means our coffee tastes better and takes 80% less energy to produce than other roasters of its size. Here’s the skinny:
Okay, that wasn’t that informative. Read more here.
So what is RoosRoast, anyway? Great question.
RoosRoast is an Ann Arbor coffee roaster deeply committed to growing our local economy as well as small, origin-focused coffee economies around the world. We are a community of weirdos, specializing in artisan beans, slow-roasted by a human (every time.) You can stop in our Rosewood cafe location to check out our favorite coffee merch on retail, to pick up a bag of coffee in one of our individually screen-printed bags, or to sip on our famous triple shot long pull coffees!
We start with carefully sourced green coffee from producers around the world. We pride ourselves in our selection of ethically sourced beans, and strive to support certifications like organic, fair trade, direct trade, Farm Gate, bird friendly, and more. Further more, we have a staff of people who geek out on talking about this stuff, so please don’t hesitate to ask for our help/expertise/weird anecdotes.
We ship our coffee across the country every day of the week (that the Post Office is open, that is.) We ship priority mail, so you can enjoy freshly roasted RoosRoast even if you live in Nebraska. And we don’t limit shipping to coffee, either! We have a carefully curated selection of coffee gadgets for your brewing, sipping, and traveling needs. All this and more in the RoosRoast Internet Store.
But after all that, don’t take our word for it. Just read what people are saying about RoosRoast!
“I have to admit, you have essentially ruined any ability for me to drink inferior coffee. I am ‘HOOKED’ on your Organic Lobster Butter Love.” Martha E. Split [click here for more testimonials]
And if you live in the Ann Arbor area, here’s where you can buy RoosRoast without using the US Postal Service. Happy trails!
