I have boiled it... - Saturday, March 8th

Let's face it punks--you know what it's like when you go most of the day with out your morning Joe. I probably know more then you lately because my life has been nothing but change and chaos.matt_111.jpg

I have boiled it down to the equivalent of travel: travel or movement makes us humans do things that get us excited and amped. I know this from selling cars, because most of the people who buy cars (which is a big exciting thing in and of itself) were either going on vacation, moving to a new place, or making some major life change that either gave them the reckless abandon or the courage to make the move.felch_111.jpg
What I'm talking about is finding newness in the known. It's what the reat artists do: seeing the same old scene in a different and new way.

What I've been doing since returning from Barbados is looking for the new in the known. Sometimes we get in ruts, and we think we already know the place where we live or we decline to do new things. Sometimes what's all around us is a greatness but we're just too burned out from having to lift one too many shovels of snow or waiting for one too many people in Michigan to follow through. So what I have been doing is going with my instincts and trying new parts of town and new places!thetodd_111.jpg

So what has been happening? If you followed through to read down this far you are about to learn that Roos Roast has moved out of the Barn!!!! Yes it was big move, but a great space with foodie Todd Wickstrum came up, and it included wireless internet and the true possibility of an the real underground cafe right on the river. How could I say no?

So for you E-Vend people the box will be at the Barn till the end of this month (I paid the full rent) and there is also going to be a new E-Z Vend at 517 Felch on the front porch. I know this should be the first piece of information on my blog but I don't write like that. Roos Roast is on the Move!
Roos Roast is the people who drink it.That's what it's all about so thank you all.

The images are of Dr. Matt Spears helping keep our would clean at The EPA here in Ann Arbor, A shot of the new E-Z Vend Location, and Me on the last day of the Barnsy Barn or Art barn that it's called.(at the time of this photo I had no idea I was moving out that day but that is the way 2008 is going for me) Hey kids that's Todd Wickstrum checkin the Roos, and a shot of chef Matt's Tomato Carpaciotomato_111.jpg
Thank you all!

Roos Roast ON The Move! Look out Shakey Jake some one is following in the foot steps!
One last thing: It was decided at Eve last Thursday that Ann Arbor is a home chef's Paradise and for more on the subject I turn you on to

(finding newness in the known) A phrase that's uttered to often in Bohemian communities. travel or movement forces us to see the newness it does not provide us newness. Easy paths in life will teach us little or nothing and have less feeling and joy in them. hard less traveled paths are filled with wounder and excitement, for those paths are new to us. At issue is the lack of true calling in peoples life. Roos you often dance at the edge of both these worlds. A true world which comes out in your art/coffee, and the false world that's reflected in car sales and jobs etc...
