Colombia Huila Finca El Recreo
Product Info
This coffee will take you on a flavor adventure!
These beans come from Finca El Recreo. This farm is located in the town of Acevedo, in the south of Huila, Colombia. Located on a 5-hectare property owned by Alirio Rodriguez Rojas and his family. Alirio has been producing coffee for over 30 years, and he is a second-generation farmer!
In this region of Huila a common varietal grown is the varietal of Castillo. At Finca El Recreo they have decided to grow the varietal Pacamra. Alirio describes this varietal as "an adventure!".
Talk about a unique flavor profile! Nutty! Light body! Earthy! An extended fermentation and sun drying on African raised beds are a few of the innovations in the process of this coffee. The combination of the drying process, the special varietal, and the terroir of the area creates this adventurous single origin. A must try!!
