Ethiopia Yirgacheffe
Product Info
Peachy keen! This coffee is ready for peach season. Do you hear that Michigan! This is a preliminary call to our peach trees in our Roos orchard to get ready.
This coffee is special because it is using only heirloom varietals called Korume and Wolisho. Wow!! can you taste the unique flavors of these beans. Peachy and tart and a little bit of sweet with slight notes of floral herbal teas. What an amazing profile.
These beans come from Chelbesa within the Gedeb Zone of Ethiopia. These farmers work with an organization called SNAP who focus on three pillars in coffee production - Consistency, Education, and Sustainability. It is within their purpose to improve the livelihood of supporting farmers, and last year their team of agronomists trained more than 6,000 farmers in land and nursery management, and climate-smart agriculture through crop diversification and intercropping. Take a look at the photos to see the action.
Cheers,
