Organic Hojicha Green Tea

A classic in Japan, Hojicha is a roasted green tea consisting of tea twigs and leaves. As tea branch cells produce very little caffeine, Hojicha is lightly caffeinated. The roast attenuates the astringency typical of Japanese exports. Hailing from Kagoshima, this organic tea has a solid body with notes of earth and tobacco. A soothing hot cup or fresh cold brewed.

Directions: Steep at 1 tsp per 8 oz of water at 175*F for 4 minutes.
